synopsis
This
course
is
designed
to
provide
a
basic
knowledge
of
biomaterials
and
provide
understanding
of
interactions
between
physiological
components
and
biomaterials.
Ranges
of
materials
currently
being
utilized
for
various
biomedical
applications
and
their
biocompatibility
with
references
to
the
biological
responses
and
environments
available
will
be
discussed.
